DynamicXcelerator is an advanced server software system designed to virtualize and disaggregate GPU servers. It combines a server operating system, isolated resource partitioning, and a machine deployment mechanism powered by the Drut Software Platform (DSP). Using the Drut Fabric Manager (DFM), DynamicXcelerator creates virtualized GPU environments, or vPODs, from available machine partitions.
A vPOD (Virtual Partition of Data) is a flexible resource grouping that combines CPU slices, memory, operating systems, GPUs, and NICs with your AI/ML models. These vPODs can span across servers and network fabrics—Ethernet, InfiniBand, or Drut’s photonic fabric. By integrating AI/ML workbench software, DynamicXcelerator automates configurations, making deployment simple and seamless.
