The 2500 series leverages cutting-edge co-packaged optics (CPO) technology, significantly enhancing endpoint port density and offering unprecedented options for GPU connectivity. As one of the first commercially available solutions utilizing CPO, the 2500 series provides:

  • Dynamic Infrastructure:  It features the first-ever dynamic system, optimizing resources for future-proof flexibility.

PRU 2500: Transforming Resource Management

The Photonic Resource Unit (PRU) 2500 is a high-density, high-performance PCIe Gen 5-based resource chassis that sets a new standard for data center architecture.

  • Support for up to 12 PCIe devices: Accommodates up to 8 double-width GPUs per PRU 2500.
  • Integration with FIC 2500: Holds up to four Fabric Interface Cards.

The Fabric Interface Card (FIC) 2500 complements the PRU 2500, delivering next-generation photonic fabric connectivity through PCIe remoting technology. This card offers:

  • PCIe Gen5 Compatibility: Supports x16 and x8 configurations.
  • Highly Dynamic Connectivity: Up to 16 or 32 connections per card, with dynamic bandwidth configuration options.
  • Expanded GPU Support: Connects up to 32 GPUs per host, setting an industry benchmark.
  • CPO Integration: Features two or four CPO 2.0 connectors, each offering 8 independent connectivity channels.
