- Capable of connecting the node to 1-4 possible Photonic Resource Units (PRUs)
- Serdes speeds into the PXC Fabric is configurable. For example, Serdes can be 12.5G, 25G, 50G, 100G
- Design intent is to be inserted into server (i.e. node)
- On board FPGA implements Drut fabric software and signal encoding
