This role is a key contribution position on the technical staff on the hardware development team at Drut.
Description/Responsibilities: In this role, you will contribute towards designing carrier grade digital SoC boards consisting of fpga/ microcontroller/memory/flash and other peripheral interfaces, with a focus to deliver on meeting design goals (performance, power, form-factor and cost). You will also work closely with other mechanical, firmware and system software team members.
Key Qualifications:
- BS and/or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree with experience in power/analog designs.
- 10+ years of hardware board design experience with knowledge of server architecture and various interfaces such as chassis, backplane, power-mgmt, blades, cards, BMC etc
- Understanding of system interface protocols and architectures.
- Experience managing and overseeing work with 3rd party design partners and contract manufacturers.
- Hands on abilities to debug, troubleshoot issues on hardware test benches and development board environment.
- Ability to proactively take on responsibilities and competent to work at a start-up paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
